ISO 9001:2015

Basetis is certified with ISO 9001:2015 as it adapts its management system to the quality standards dictated by this regulation. Our Quality Management System is therefore based on the recommendations of that standard, which consist of:

A process-based approach

All Basetis activity is described as a set of internal processes necessary to understand and meet the requirements inherent to the needs of customers and people in the organization. These processes are managed from the divers transversal areas in which we are organized in Basetis and through their interaction. In this model, every process has inputs, outputs, activities with people in charge and indicators that allow their measurement, monitoring and improvement.

A cycle of continuous improvement

We base our work on the Deming cycle or PDCA cycle (Plan-Do-Check-Act) to be able to advance and improve at all times. This cycle includes a wide range of activities such as risk management, change management, setting improvement objectives, analysing data and indicators, monitoring customer satisfaction, the realization of internal audits, the review of the Quality Management System itself, compliance management, corrective actions and documentation.

Risk-based thinking

The actions to improve the Quality Management System are based on the analysis of the risks and opportunities faced by Basetis. For this purpose, we analyse two risk types: those resulting from the context of the company in a broad sense, with an analysis of all stakeholders, and those derived from the company’s own strategic, central and support processes.

ISO 9001:2015 in Basetis

In view of this approach, at Basetis we have drawn up a documented statement of quality policy and its objectives, a manual of quality, procedures, registrations, technical instructions, templates and tools to develop and monitor all the organization’s processes.

Our decentralized organization, based on the Teal model, with total trust in people and a shared responsibility, was not a setback to achieve the ISO 9001:2015 certification, but on the contrary, verified that the organization of the company gains in efficiency and quality.

During the certification process, Bureau Veritas Iberia S.L., the company that certified the quality of our management system, highlighted the following strengths of Basetis:

  • Commitment and participation of the entire organization in the quality system.
  • Dimensioning and structuring of the quality system documentation.
  • Internal management tools such as Google sites, Trello, Teamwork…
  • Excellent working environment.
