Barcelona Time Pact

As an organization committed to the well-being of people, Basetis joined this initiative in 2020 with the aim of promoting and enhancing a new culture of time in organizations

The Barcelona Time Pact is an initiative of the Barcelona City Council that is committed to time as a right for citizens. Its objective is to promote a healthier, more egalitarian and efficient organization of time in a collective framework of coexistence.

This pact calls for the involvement of the Barcelona City Council, the city’s social and economic organizations (companies, associations, foundations, social agents, professional associations, networks, groups…) and individuals to act jointly in the advancement of a social organization of time that provides an effective response to the multiple and different interests of such a diverse and active large city.

Objectives of the initiative

As an organization committed to the well-being of people, Basetis joined this initiative in 2020 with the aim of promoting and enhancing a new culture of time in organizations.

Some of Basetis concrete actions around time management include the following:

  1. At Basetis we work on a project basis. Thanks to this, we facilitate flexible working hours depending on the project in which we participate (except for people who work in client offices).
  2. We monitor the reduced working hours between men and women. The reduced working hours are applied both for childcare and care of the elderly, as well as for training and studies.
  3. We grant leaves of absence to study or work outside, to take care of children or elderly people, etc.
