Success case
Intelligent management
position planning
Objectives
The aim of the project was to improve operational efficiency in the allocation and distribution of staff in each office by clearly and objectively determining how many management profiles would be needed in each office and how to appropriately distribute positions that needed to be shared between several locations.
The following specific objectives were set:
- Optimise the distribution of approved management positions across all bank offices.
- Determine the best possible allocation for multi-location positions, ensuring balance and efficiency.
- Explain clearly and justifiably why each office needs a certain number of staff.
- Provide an analysis tool that is accessible to both technical and business profiles.
How have we done it?
– Predictive models (XGBoost) to estimate future management needs by office.
– Optimised allocation algorithms based on rules and operational constraints to determine the best distribution of multi-location positions.
– Power BI to visualise results and facilitate analysis by the business.
– Consulting and analysis in conjunction with the client to define key variables and ensure understanding of the results.
Results provided
– Optimal allocation of resources, adjusted to actual needs by office.
– Optimisation of multi-location position distribution using advanced models.
– Greater objectivity and transparency in personnel decision-making.
– Homogeneous and replicable criteria for the entire office network.
– Solution scalable to other roles and functions.
– Interactive dashboard in Power BI, understandable and useful for all profiles.
