Context

Naturgy is a leading company in the energy sector. Its portals department is mainly responsible for the maintenance and evolution of the different areas of retail customers, as well as the online contracting portal. This department controls a multitude of applications made by different suppliers.

Objectives

To improve efficiency and coordination thanks to a functional responsible role, with a global vision of the business and knowledge of the different applications. The intention is to promote this based on the management and interlocution capacity between the business and the different technical teams.

Results provided

Thanks to the functional analysis role, a better functional and business knowledge has been reached. In addition, there has been an improvement of the processes related to requirements gathering, preliminary analysis and solution design, among others.
